Who we are...
- Almost Mother Tongue
- We are a group of eighteen people who study english. We are boys and girls with different ages and we come from towns in the Marche Region. We are attending an english course in Macerata. We have two teachers. Jackie is from Indianapolis but she has lived in Macerata for many years. Claudia instead is an italian girlwho teaches us english grammar. We are all studying english for different reasons, we will use english, for working, travelling, using the internet and meeting foreign people.

I'll never forget how when I first arrived in Italy, so many people told me about this "cat on the table" line--and I would always swear that in America, and I'm sure in the UK, Australia, Canada, etc., we really, honestly don't keep the cat on the table ;)

Alright, so where do we begin? Right now since carnevale is in the air, I was wondering which towns in Marche make the most elaborate celebrations? And the sweets! We mustn't forget all of the yummy treats. Anything particular in your region? I would appreciate a description, and a recipe if possible!
